Tarangire
Tarangire is a spectacular park especially during the drier months when a lot of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire river. It is the sheer number of baobab trees that first capture the eye as you enter the park.

Symbolised by this great baobab and 2,600km2  in area, Tarangire National Park is located South-East of Manyara. Being in such close proximity to Moshi and Bristol Cottages Kilimanjaro, Tarangire can also be visited as a day excursion.

Tarangire is famous for the huge Elephant and Giraffe population. Although rare, Leopards can also be seen. Large herds of various Antelope including Eland, Impala, and Thompson’s gazelle can be seen along with Zebras, Buffalos, and Wildebeests.
